Rowan is an Accredited Family Mediator, having qualified as a mediator in 1997. Rowan is experienced in dealing with /resolving both children and financial issues/problems.


Rowan is a member of both the Family Mediators Association and Resolution. Rowan is a Professional Practice Consultant with both organisations, meaning she is qualified to supervise other mediators.


Rowan was a Family Solicitor in private practice for 33 years.

David is an Accredited Family Mediator and has a wide experience in dispute and conflict resolution. He became an Accredited Family Mediator in 2006 and trained as a Hybrid Family Mediator in 2020.

He is dual qualified as both a Civil/Commercial Mediator and a Family Mediator. This means he is able to draw on different styles of mediation to assist parties in resolving issues.

He was a Solicitor in private practice for nearly 40 years and was managing partner in the Carlisle law firm of Bendles for 23 years until 2015.

Julie is an Accredited Family Mediator and is also qualified in Child Inclusive Mediation. She became an Accredited Family Mediator in 2017 and trained in integrated family mediation in 2022.

She was a Solicitor in private practice and also has a Masters in psychology. Julie has experience of working with CAMHS as an assistant psychologist. Julie combines her family mediation practice with her role as a lecturer, teaching professional law courses.

Jane was senior partner and director as a solicitor in private practice for 35 years where she dealt with all aspects of separation and divorce.

Jane became an Accredited Family Mediator over 20 years ago.

Since 2015 she has been recognised and accredited by the Family Mediation Council to provide family mediation for couples seeking a child-centred agreement for their children and for couples seeking a negotiated outcome to their financial and property issues on separation.

Paul is an Accredited Family Mediator and has over 30 years’ experience in family mediation.

Paul qualified as a Solicitor in 1992 specialising in Family Law having his own practice for 15 years. Paul is now semi-retired and concentrates on mediation.
